'The Big Con' by Gary Jones and Dave Forrest

An incredible self-working transposition effect - reworked with all new and improved props and presentation.

Placing five red poker chips on the table along with two white 'dealer' and big blind' buttons you offer to demonstrate the most successful insider casino con of all time.

Openly and fairly, one white button is placed in each hand. Then, quickly, one by one, the red chips are picked up - some in the left hand, some in the right hand. "Was that too fast?" you ask. You lay the chips out again and VERY slowly and deliberately this time, the chips are collected up - some in the left hand, some in the right hand.

Now, without ANY moves and despite the fact that clearly, nothing untoward has taken place, the hands are opened to reveal ALL FIVE chips in the right hand and just the two white buttons in the left hand!

This is an unfathomable transposition that looks like some complex, esoteric sleight of hand. But it's not. In fact - it works by itself! If you can pick things up and put them down? You can do The Big Con!

"Absolutely awesome mate! What you've done here lifts it to the next level and the 'hook is brilliant and logical."

That's what Gary Jones, who originated the core effect*, had to say when Dave approached him with the idea of these new props and presentation.

The white buttons make the transposition SUPER-CLEAR so that there can be no confusion over what's taken place and the 'casino con' presentation makes contextual sense of the effect.

'The Big Con' set includes 8 pro-grade, ceramic poker chips. Seven are used in the effect and one additional is provided for an optional 'examination' phase at the beginning. If you have any other Full 52 poker chip effects, you'll already be familiar with the quality of these props - they're top drawer!
