This is the original STEAM by Ali Nouira. (It was later released as a 2.0 under the 'Paul Harris Presents' banner.) 

Your spectator writes ANYTHING down - a word, a number, someone's initials, a playing card - and you never get to see what it says. They write with a felt pen on a thick paper billet while your back is turned. That billet cannot be peeked or seen in any conceivable way by anyone.

The billet is then covered up by the spectator - all while your back is turned.

Despite all of these test conditions, you will still be able to read what's written inside the billet. Even though you never actually touch it!
