Acme Bar Bet

First featured on Dave's much celebrated 'Project Zero' double DVD project, 'Acme Bar Bet' is a mind blowing close-up illusion that leaves onlookers rubbing their eyes in disbelief.

New and improved, this release includes the gimmicked cards which now feature a magnetic 'click on' portable hole. These new gimmicks make 'Acme Bar Bet' SO much easier to perform.

Effect: Taking a coin from your pocket, you propose a bar bet. A playing card is placed on top of a glass, completely covering the mouth. The aim is to try to get the coin inside the glass and there are rules...

1. You may NEVER touch the glass.

2. You must ALWAYS be holding either the coin or the card but NEVER both.

3. The card must ALWAYS be either in your hands or completely covering the glass.

After your spectator solves the problem (or not!) you offer a magical solution. A small disk of playing card is placed onto the card where it instantly transforms into a REAL HOLE! The card is placed atop the glass and the coin is simply dropped through into the glass.

This is a thoroughly engaging close-up effect. Spectators become genuinely intrigued by the bar bet - you're guaranteed interest, engagement and participation. Then, just when they think it's over, you hit them between the eyes with a magical, brain-melting solution to the problem.
